Welcome to John Hughes Photography.

I am a Freelance Photographer based in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. I have over thirty years photographic experience although I only "went" digital in 2008. I have produced a wide variety of work and material covering Siege of Carrickfergus re-enactments, Ladies International Football Tournament, Festival of Colours, Tall Ships Belfast and I have worked with a number of bands on photoshoots.

While my interests include wildlife, sport and travel I am now looking to expand that experience into new areas and challenges in photography and would welcome commissions for photoshoots or assignments including portraits, fashion and events. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Due to the different aspect ratios of digital camera images and standard sizes some cropping or clipping may occur in the final print to that shown on your screen depending on actual image.
